A quick heads up for Manchester-based OMers, Berghaus-sponsored climber Leo Houlding will be at the new Nevisport outdoors store on Thursday 10 December  talking about the Asgard Project epic.

Houlding's at the store on Deansgate from 4pm to 7pm talking about the ambitious expedition to Baffin Island that forms the basis for the astonishing Asgard Project film - see our review - and also discussing the Berghaus kit used on the trip, which involved climbing a desperate big wall in arctic conditions followed by a wingsuit descent back to camp.

It was, says Houlding, 'the greatest challenge I have set myself to date. I’ve been to the top of the world, suffered career-threatening injury and completed some amazing adventures, but The Asgard Project tested me more than anything that has gone before.'

As well as talking about the epic trip, Houlding will also be signing posters and chatting with guests plus everyone who attends will be eligible to enter a draw to win a top-end Berghaus jacket. Everyone welcome.

The new Nevisport store is now open at 188-192 Deansgate, near the near the junction with Atkinson Street.
