Top climbing photographer Lukasz Warzecha is just one of three leading outdoors specialists at the Big Shakeout in October.

The deadline for signing up for course at Alpkit's ace-looking Big Shakeout weekend in the Peak next month is looming - just a week to go - and some of the most popular options out there, have been the photographic classes, so if you want to get a place, you'd better be quick...

Alpkenny tells us what's what... over to you, Kenny.

When putting together the School of Adventure activities we knew we had to have Outdoor Photography as part of the mix. Fortunately we have managed to bring together three photographers, all working within the industry, to pass on their expertise in the three fields of climbing, caving and mountain biking.

All three of the photographers involved offer longer, more comprehensive workshops, but these half-day sessions offer an opportunity to get a great taster at minimal cost.. with all the attractions of the Big Shakeout weekend on top!

Climbing photography with Lukasz Warzecha

Top climbing/outdoor photographer Lukasz Warzecha will be on hand to talk through the basics of bouldering photography. Lukasz has solid experience following many of the Worlds top climbers and capturing the diverse action from bouldering, ice climbing, sport routes through to hard trad routes. You will have seen his work featured in Climb, Climbing, Grimpeur, National Geographic, The Guardian as well as many manufacturers catalogues.

MTB photography with Benji Haworth

Benji has been a mountain bike journalist and photographer for over six years now, readers of Singletrack magazine will already be familiar with his work.  This is not a classroom session covering dull theory.. Benji will take you out on a short ride in the Peak District and will cover all of the important considerations needed for capturing the best from your time on the trails, such as composition, timing, exposure, attitude, action pics, scenic pics, candid pics, and what Not To Do.
