Catch the best films from Kendal in London and support Porters' Progress at the same time.

You can catch this year's best
films from the Kendal Mountain Film Festival and support a
great cause, at the RGS
on Tuesday 16 March, 2010 with a showing in support of
Porters' Progress UK.
It's the fourth year running that the charity, which works to improve
conditions for porters working in developing countries, has presented
best of Kendal films in London at the Royal Geographical Society.

This year's films include 'The Asgard Project', which won the People's
Choice award, 'Samara', winner of the best Mountain Adventure Film gong
and the double award-winning 'First Ascent: Alone on the Wall' which
carried off both the Grand Prize and Best Climbing Film titles at
Kendal.
All proceeds from the evening go to Porters' Progress UK, a charity
which works to support porters working in developing countries. Tickets
cost £12 and can be purchased on line at the World
Expeditions web site: www.worldexpeditions.com

The evening runs from 7pm to 10pm on Tuesday 16 March at the RGS in
Kensington Gore and the bar will be open all evening.
