Kids Clean Snowdon
If Snowdon's looking particularly tidy this weekend, it's down to the efforts of 25 local school children who spent a day giving the country's highest mountain a good spring clean :-)

Snowdon should be slightly tidier than usual this weekend thanks
to 25 Welsh school children who gave the mountain a good spring clean
as part of a Tidy Wales Week.
The children, from Dolbadarn Primary School in Gwynedd, hitched a
lift up the mountain with the Snowdon Mountain Railway - aye, in my
day, kids walked oop mountains - before collecting litter from the
hill.
Gratifyingly there was, apparently, relatively little refuse to
gather, presumably because most mountain walkers and climbers are a
tad more appreciative of their environment than the average
litter-strewing town dweller, but the main point of the exercise was
to draw attention to the overall Tidy Wales Week, which comprise
some 900 events throughout the country.
Full details from this
BBC story. Thanks to very tidy OM member Dave Mycroft for the tip
off. Wales is the size of Wales.

LOL. i think there is one up by the cafe! I don't think littler bins would solve it, maybe educating those who go up there to take their little off the hill with them.
