Kinder Christmassy...

We took a walk on the mild side on Kinder this Christmas Day. Warning: contains graphic pictures of gratuitous soup slurping

So much for a white Christmas, but hey, you can't have everything and team OM went for a festive Christmas Day wander across Kinder anyway. It didn't just turn out nice, as the sun sank and the cloud drifted, the light did that soft late afternoon light gig and a bunch of highland cattle joined in for the last leg down to Kinder Reservoir. Magic. Oops...

Hope your Christmas was every bit as good even if you didn't manage to get out and hey, the weekend beckons. In the mean time, here are a few snaps of a mild and mellow Christmas day...

Des res, one previous owner, needs some work on the damp proofing...

William Clough, the path taken by the original Kinder Trespassers

Omigodd, it's the Soup Dragon...

Bleakly does it.

Enough captions for now, that's the Downfall in the middle though.

Sign.

Nicely bleak views up to Kinder Downfall

Time-served guardians of the environment, with pointy bits...

Thank you and good night.
