Britain's most entertaining mountaineering lecturer is back on the road this winter, here's where you can catch the inimitable Andy Kirkpatrick
We've been drowing under a deluge of winter lecture dates and
details, so we reckoned one more set wouldn't make much difference,
especially when the speaker is the talented and extremely funny Andy
Kirkpatrick.
Andy's without a doubt the most entertaining mountaineering
speaker around, but anyway, we'll let him tell you what he's up to...
"Somewhere
between Billy Connolly and Joe Simpson, Andy Kirkpatrick takes the
traditional mountaineering slideshow and turns it on its
head.If you only ever see one mountaineering lecture in your
life then make sure this is the one!"
As usual I'll be talking about the things I've up to this year in
'A chocolate river runs through it', which revolves around climbing
in the alps, Norway, America and is tied together with a very strange
tale involving dwarfs, a million gallons of chocolate and Johnny
Depp.
Plus this year I'm visiting some new places such as South Wales
where I'll be talking about Patagonia.
