Lakeland peaks could cop up to 10 cm of snow overnight if the forecasters are correct, but we reckon you'll need to be quick to be snowy.

The first snow of the winter could hit the Lake District tonight
with forecasters saying there could be as much as 10cm falling over
high ground with more on Scottish hills.
However, with freezing levels over the next few days forecast at
around 4000 feet, it's unlikely to stay for long, but if you're out
on the tops tomorrow morning it could be scenic and snowy.
And remember folks, you can always access the OUTDOORSmagic
weather links from the 'GET OUTDOORS' menu at the top of the
site.
