A quick Thursday afternoon diversion for you in the form of an interview with film-maker Alastair Lee and top climber Leo Houlding talking about the logistics and thinking behind the filming of the award-winning Asgard Project.

It's a great film, well worth a viewing if you get the chance, and this is an interesting interview from the Kendal Mountain Film Festival with Lee and Houlding talking about the trip and the difficulties of filming it.

Some amusing stuff, including how the parachutes used to drop the expedition supplies in cost 60 quid each from eBay and were labelled 'Not For Air Delivery', which was precisely what they were used for....

Trust us though, this is just scratching the surface. We have an in depth interview with Alastair Lee ready to go up on the site soon.
