Llanberis Mountain Film Festival Soon
North Welsh celebration of mountain culture takes place next month,

A quick date for your diary with the news that the 2010 Llanberis Mountain Film
Festival runs over the weekend of 5-7 March and
advance tickets are available inn three different formats.
Llanberis has always been a friendly celebration of mountain culture in
an outdoors town and well worth the trip. It's not just about film,
there are also speakers, exhinitions, activities - including a family
orienteering competition around Llyn Padarn run by Sprayway - and a
mountain photography competition.
The film programme looks excellent and includes two and a half hours of
the Best of Banff programme - see the trailer:
Lots more besides including Before Tomorrow, an Innuit langage film,
Bustin Down the Door - a seminal surf tale from 1975 and London
Calling, a short film about bike courier racing around the world.
Speakers this year include the likes of Stephen Venables and Dave
MacLleod and on top of that, the extraordinary John Redhead is having
'a multi media intervention'.
