A climber missing in the South Torridon hills has been found dead on Sgorr Ruadh at the weekend.

Peter Grant, a 49-year-old former mountain rescue team member sparked a massive search operation involving three rescue teams, dogs and RAF helicopters when he failed to return from a solo trip into the hills last Wednesday.

His car was found at Achnashellach triggering the search, which included members of the team he was formerly part of from Kintail. Very sad news.
