Check out the new web site aimed at bleary-eyed UK adventure race fanatics and watch out for the blinking monster

New on the web is a monster (sorry) new adventure racing site from
top adventure race journo and photographer Rob Howard.
The site, sleepmonsters.com
- we think the name is an ironic comment on the demands of adventure
racing - has linked up with the Adventure Racing Association of UK
and Ireland (ARAUKI) and the recently launched British Adventure
Racing Championship to provide what they say is all you need to know
about adventure racing in the UK.
It's clearly early days yet, but Ron has been involved with the
adventure racing scene for about as long as there's been one to be
involved with and is definitely the man for the job. Right now only
the news and event reports are working, but there are big plans for
the future.
There's already a basic report on the weekend's indoor event at
the OS Outdoors Show at the NEC with more to follow soon. We reckon
this could develop into a must visit site for UK racers and we like
the blinking eye-con too...
Hmm, that orange looks horribly familiar as well. We were
wondering where it had gone. Advenure racing is, as ever, improbably
challenging.
