Naked Rambling Trio Arrested
NEWSFLASH! The naked rambler and his two companions, also naked, have been arrested in Shropshire as they attempt to walk from Lands End to John o Groats

Her's a news flash for you - sorry - the Naked Rambler and his
companions have been arrested in Shropshire a month into his new
attempt to walk the length of Britain unclothed...
Stephen Gough, his girlfriend Melanie Roberts and a shy and
reclusive male librarian are walking from Lands End to John o Groats
- again in the case of Gough - in order to challenge attitudes to
public nudity.
According to the BBC, police arrested two men and a woman and
charged them with causing a breach of the peace after a complaint
from a member of the public. The BBC quotes a police spokesman as
saying:
"When we found them we asked them to cover up, but they refused.
We had no choice but to arrest them."
To be fair the trio are doing quite well, this is the first time
they've been arrested since starting the walk from Lands End a month
ago. No doubt we can expect a full expose in the national meeja.
Meanwhile outdoor clothing retailers everywhere are praying that naked rambling doesn't take off in a big way...
