The BBC is reporting that a number of people have been injured in a gondola crash at Nevis Range on Aonach Mor near Fort William.

Reports suggest that two cable cars collided high on the mountain with between five and eight people seriously injured when they were thrown from the cable car.

Mountain rescue teams assisted by RAF helicopters are on the scene and it's thought that the injured will be ferried to hospital in Fort William and possible elsewhere in the Highlands.
