New Lee Book Launch In Lakes
Wilf's Cafe to host free Alastair Lee book launch with talk, nibbles and drinks.

A quick heads up for anyone planning to be in the Lakes on Saturday 3 April,
Alastair Lee is launching his new Lake
District Mountain Landscape book at Wilf's Cafe in
Staveley that evening and it's free.
It's a fantastic, coffee table sort of book - see our review
- with some really beautiful images from the multi-talented film-maker
and photographer and was over five years in the making,
Admission is free and there'll be tasty Wilf's nibbles and drinks while
Al will be giving a short talk about his work and an AV presentation as
well as signing copies of the book.
In addition, Al is quietly chuffed at having managed to get some images
from the new book up on the Guardian
web site.
