Odlo Goes Retro For Girls...
Award-winning tech shirt has 'eye-catching vintage feel'

Odlo has been producing sportswear in Norway since 1946 so it's kind of apt that its new award-winning women's-specific Via Calma 'tec shirt' has a distinctive retro look that makes a bit of a change from the modern norm.
The top is made from Polartec's Thermal Pro fleece - think good warmth to weight and bulk ratio - with a brushed inner surface and landed one of Polartec's 2011 Apex Awards for the best products made from Polartec fabrics.
It's the styling that really stands out though. A big front opening with press buttons rather than the ubiquitous half-zip, stand-up collar, contrast stitching and a gurt big embroidered arm patch give it a distinctive vintage charm that you'll either love or think is ridiculous.
It also looks to have a neat, sculpted, women's-specific fit. We kind of like it - it's a bit different, but thanks to high spec fabric, should do the job it's intended to, just fine and Norwegians know a thing or two about staying warm in the outdoors.
The price? Er, rummage, dig, ah, retails for a suggested £115 - we're going to sit down for a bit - but as ever, you'll probably be able to find it cheaper somewhere on line.
