If you want to see Alastair Lee's latest DVD, On Sight - see our review - with a few added bells
and whistles then the Kendal Mountain Festival, later this month, is
the place to head.
Alastair's going to be presenting a special 50-minute cut of On Sight projected
in, it says here, 'stunning high definition', after which he'll be
talking about the making of the film complete with alternative film
making tips, stories of frost-bitten buttocks, rib-tickling out-takes
and bizarre moments that didn't quite make the cut....
The film itself really is stunning and thought provoking with it, so
all in all it should be a cracking 90 minutes. Date is 22 November,
time 1pm at the Brewery Arts and tickets cost £5 each. It'll
be interesting to see if Alastair's latest lands yet another Kendal
award.
