Open Lakes - All The Access Points Listed

Where to go if you want to walk in the Lakes from this Saturday

Okay, thanks to some diligent digging, we now have a list of the access points which will allow you onto the Central Fells from Saturday. The list of specific paths which are open hasn't been made public yet, but you can put two and two together and work out some likely routes.

There will be disinfectant precautions in place together with volunteers both at the access points and on the fells themselves between the hours of eight and six, though access won't be restricted to those times.

The general areas open are: Grasmere, Langdale, Loughrigg, Helvellyn, Fairfield, Stony Cove Pike, High Street, Red Screes, Fairfield, Ill Bell, Great Gable, Wasdale Fells, Coniston Fells, Cat Bells, High Spy, Causey Pike, Grisedale Pike and the Buttermere Fells.
