A very quick advanced date for your diary if you're a London-based
OMer looking for some February inspiration or, indeed a potential
exhibitor looking to get down and dirty with an audience of the
capital's outdoor devotees.
The Outdoor Adventure Show is back for 2005 but it's moved from
2004's Islington venue to Olympia. Dates are 18-20th February and
this year it's being sponsored by the Ford Ranger which, judging by
the pic, is some heffalump of an American-style heffalump of the kind
driven by so many outdoors people.
The show will cover everything from walking, climbing and trekking
through to, erm, motoring, though based on last year's show, there
wasn't much interest in the motoring side of things. The show has its
own site at www.outdooradventureshow.co.uk
where you can register for more information. The organisers, Brand
Events, are the company behind the OS Outdoors Show, so expect more
of the same, but on a smaller scale.
