If you've tried to log onto the Outdoors Channel recently and been
faced with a blank screen, don't panic, podcast king Bob Cartwright
is rebranding the site and it'll be back shortly with a new name, The
Outdoors Station plus the podcasts are still available via iTunes.
It's all because of a cease and desist order issued by lawyers
acting for a large American company, which is about all we can tell
you, but the end result is that the site is going to get a new name
and should be up and running again in the near future.
You can expect the same great mix of audio and video podcasts
along with the TGO stuff on the new site, so don't worry, all is well
with Podcast Bob. He's going to be a busy chap for the next few weeks
what with the need to rebrand both the site and other material like
CDs and printed material.
If you're getting withdrawal symptoms, there are still Bobcasts
available at www.backpackinglight.co.uk. And the good news is that the Outdoors Channel podcasts are still available via iTunes or your usual aggregator, so there's no change with the podcast feed.
