Patagonia's Meltdown Lectures take you new-routing in Alaska. Looks good.
You can tell it's winter when the lectures start coming thick and fast
and the latest for your diaries is
Patagonia's
Meltdown Lecture Series which features British alpinists
Matt Heliker and
Jon Bracey and kicks
off at the Kendal Mountain Festival on November 22, 2009.
The pair - both Patagonia brand ambassadors - will be touring the UK
between 22 November and 4 December talking about their new routing
exploits in Ruth Gorge, Alaska, which they visited in May.
Apparently their visit coincided with stable weather and good ice
conditions allowing them to climb two new, tough, day-long routes in
the area and giving them a lot to talk about along with stunning
pictures and movies about their adventure.
All sounds good to uss. See the cracking trailer above for a taster
while you're here.
