The Authority is using an online survey to help garner public opinion
as part of a public consultation into the draft Peak District
Recreation Strategy - called Active in the Outdoors - which will assist
with the planning of services over the next 10 years.
Active In The Outdoors has three main aims, to look at existing
facilities and services and how well they work. To identify areas that
could be improved and to consider what the Park should prioritise
between now and 2020.
They want to hear from members of the public including recreational
groups and obviously including walkers and climbers. So to have your
say, head over to the online questionnaire at www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/recreation
or if you're a terminal Luddite with a malfunctioning internet
connection, call 01629
816270 for a paper copy.
