Ratho Open Again Next Week

Part of The Adventure Centre at Ratho near Edinburgh which has been closed for rebuilding since August 2006, is due to reopen to climbers next Monday, 19 February.

The partial reopening will allow access to the astonishing roofed quarry climbing arena and changing areas initially with the rest of the centre being brought into play when the full reopening happens. However there will be no building work during the opening hours which are Monday to Friday 17:00 to 22:00 and at the weekend, 10:00 to 18:00.

There are apparently over 150 new routes set up in the massive climbing arena, so that should keep you busy for a while. Courses will be up and running soon as well, but there are no catering facilities so bring your own brocolli sarnies.

The spa, gym, fitness studio, Skyride, Tiso shop conferencing and catering facilities should be open again and operational in May.
