Want to know what the Right To Roam bill is all about? Yes I know
you do, yes I know I should, but frankly I'd rather be out walking /
climbing / mountain biking, so get this:
1. The Third Reading of the Bill has been passed by the Commons
and so it can now pass to the Lords
2. Various Conservative objections including a batty plan to
prevent access at night were thoroughly skewered
3. This extremely
thorough summary on the redoubtable Rambers' Association web site
explains exactly what it's likely to mean. Thanks guys
4. Spare a thought for all the cows and sheep who have no right to
roam whatsoever and little prospect of ever having one. Take them a
snap-shot of the view over the hill they'll never be able to
climb
