It's just a quick reminder that this year's Adrenalin Rush over in
the Mountains of Mourne started on Sunday and is now well
underway.
Okay, we know that adventure racing is one of those sports that's
more fun to do that watch and debatably more fun to watch on
television than on the web, but we're honour bound to tell you that
if you want to follow the ohour by hour action, then
sleepmonsters.com is the place to be.
Adventure race journo and webmaster Rob Howard is over in Ireland
posting regular reports and pictures from the event and doing his
level best to inject as much excitement into the proceedings as he
can.
At the time of writing, it looks like Team Omniglow Lythgoe
featuring the fearsome Davies siblings may have sneaked into the lead
ahead of Swedes Maybe Xdin, but with the race somewhere around 60
per-cent complete, there's still a long way to go.
Meanwhile, Team The North Face, captained by OM member Chris
McSweeney are well placed in seventh at the head of the chasing pack,
but some way behind the leaders. Still, if we know Chris and Keith
Byrne of The North Gace UK, they'll be having a ball.
