Salomon Launches Own-Brand Stores

Store stock items from right across Salomon's range of outdoor and snowsport kit.

Fast-moving outdoors brand Salomon has got together with Snow+Rock to open two UK own-brand stores stocking a wide range of footwear, clothing and accessories.

The two shops opened last week at Snow+Rock Croydon and Snow+Rock Chill Factore in Manchester. They're big - over 40 metres square - and in popular retail locations with the Manchester one having a real snow slope on site.

The stores, say Snow+Rock, will have the biggest range of Salomon footwear, clothing and accessories in the UK with the range encompassing trail, outdoor, ski and snowboard products  from the range developed in the shadow of the French Alps. There will also be exclusive products and promotions available only from the two brand stores in the UK.

We're big fans of Salomon's footwear range, but they also have some interesting but often overlooked lightweight clothing, that can be quite hard to find in the UK, so the new brand stores may help spread the word on that front.
