Finding a campsite when you're on the road in Scotland has
just got a whole lot easier thanks to a new map from
ScottishCamping.com.
The
map, produced for the Scottish camping specialist web site by
Nicolson Maps shows the location of over 400 numbered Scottish
campsites and caravan parks on the map side of the sheet, while the
reverse side give the exact address, contact number and other
information for each site. This includes the units accepted at each
site and whether canine companions are acceptable.
The map is designed to be a stand-alone directory, but the web
site also carries a page of updates to directory detals, which it's
worth checking before you head off.
We've got a copy here and basically it seems to do what it says on
the can. Nothing complicated, but if what you want is a map of
camping and caravan sites north of the border, here it is.
The web site at www.scottishcamping.com meanwhile is the only web site dedicated
to providing full information and reviews on campsites making it a
handy pre-trip planning resource.
You can buy the map directly from the web site for £5 plus
postage and packing.

You'll need to miss the space out between 'scottish' and 'camping' on the link. Gary
