Snugpak Supports Kili Red Nosers

Snugpak, the synthetic sleeping bag specialist, has supported the Comic Relief Kilimajaro climb, supplying equipment  to both the celebrities and support crew.

The company supplied the team with Softie Chrysalis sleeping bags and fleece liners. The bags use Snugpak's exclusive synthetic Softie Insulation teamed with a cunning jumbo-sized zip baffle.


The double-zipped system means the bag can either be zipped right up to give a snug-fitting, warm bag or with the baffle expanded, increased internal volume allows extra air circulation and a cooler bag. The idea is that the system is more adaptable to the sort of temperature changes you encounter as you head up a mountain like Kilimanjaro.

The fleece liners extend comfort and keep the inside of the bag clean with tie-in loops linking the bag and liner together.
