Outdoor equipment company Terra
Nova has a new arrival in the form of offshoot, Little Terra,
specialising in outdoor clothing, equipment and educational toys for
children.
Litte Terra - remarkably they resisted the temptation to call it Terra
Tots - is, they say 'dedicated to helping families and children enjoy,
explore and learn about the outdoors' is both a real shop, in Derby,
and a web site.

“From our success running Terra Nova we know that people keen
on outdoor activities love to involve their families but have
difficulty in finding good quality, specialist clothes for their
children and useful gear that really makes exploring the outdoors with
youngsters so much easier," says Carolyn Budding, director of both
Terra Nova and Little Terra.
"Little Terra has been a long held dream for me and I am thrilled that
we have now launched a website and a high street shop all about
inspiring families outdoors.”
Both shop and web site stock a range of quality children's outdoor
clothing and kit that works equally well on the hills or in the garden
or at the seaside. In addition the shop also stocks a wide range of
educational games and toys to encourage and enthuse youngsters. And
we're not talking light sabres...
The Derby shop was launched by mountaineer Nigel Vardy and is at 21
