Keen Targhee II Mid, new for this autumn 2010

Hybrid brand Keen is looking for 20 European testers for its new range of autumn/winter 2010 footwear and, if you're chosen, you get to keep the boots.

The easiest way to enter is via Keen Europe's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/keeneurope where all you need to do is follow the relevant links then provide 'your most creative, coolest, funniest, outrageous and adventure ideas to test our KEEN's to the limit' by completing a sentence beginning... 'I will take my KEEN's and...'

You also need to send a picture of yourself outdoors, 'living the HybridLife'. You can see some of the submitted images on Facebook.

As a quick aside, if you're thinking Keen is just about sandals and other warm weather hybrids, think again. The brand also has a range of insulated winter footwear, which would be ideal if the weather this winter is anything like last year and more conventional walking boots and mids.

New for this winter, for example is the Targhee II Mid, a leather and mesh mid-cut shoe complete with waterproof and breathable KEEN.DRY membrane, engineered, stability-orientated chassis, aggressive outsole with 4mm lugs and Keen's signature toe-protection feature where the outsole wraps up and over the toes.

We've always found Keen's generous lasting good for high volume British feet.

Looking for testers? Then make them in a wider range of sizes, then. The smallest is a UK 4 (US5) but because it's a large 4, I can't get a pair to fit me. Grrr
