Ooops, all a bit lastminute.com I'm afraid, but top climber Steve
McClure is giving a series of lectures under the title of 'The Very
Big and The Very Small' over the next week or so.
McClure, who has climbed at a mind-boggling 9a grade, is one of
the strongest and most committed climbers in the UK. Inspired by a
desperate Johhny Dawes slte route, 'The Very Big and The Very Small',
McClure has gone on to climb super hard routes in the UK before
widening his focus to long onsights in Europe, and more recently to
the very big trad walls of Greenland.
The shows also include:
Grey Hairs And Gravity, a short docu-film by American
film-maker Dave Vaughn
From Gritstone to Greenland-Stunning photographs set to
music by acclaimed photographer Nick Boden.
A short Deep Water Soloing film by Mark Reeves - featuring Leo
Houlding, Johnny Dawes and some very, very big falls.
More stunning photographs, this time taken by a number of UK based
women, again set to music.
Competitions sponsored by Fat Face, Petzl, and POD.
