Ullswater Walking Festival 2008 Dates

One for your diaries with the news that this year's Ullswater Walking Festival takes place on 10-18 May 2008.

Centred around Glenridding, this year's festival combines a series of guides walks at both high and low levels with other activities including mountain biking, navigation, photography, steamer rides, music and talks.

We like the idea of the Photography Walk which combines a stroll along the shores of Ullswater with the opportunity to learn from two experienced photographers who will accompany the group and the women only navigatiion course.

Or if you've always wondered about getting out on two wheels, there's an absolute beginners course followed by more advanced skills instruction to improve your riding.
