Unhappy Nude Year...
It's back to jail for the Naked Rambler as he continues his blatantly nude fight for the right to walk without clothes.

It's a question of start as you mean to go on for the Naked
Rambler, Steven Gough, who has been jailed in Scotland again, this
time for three months, after being found guilty of breach of the
peace.
Gough, who is walking from Lands End to John o'Groats to campaign
for the right to hike naked, was arrested on 29 November just hours
after being released from prison after serving a three-month sentence
for a similar offence. He was reported by a resident of Evanton,
Easter Ross who spotted him walking naked through the middle of the
village.
The sentence was backdated to December 1 since Gough has already
served a month on remand. He's no been arrested numerous times, but
has continued with his walk as a protest against the arrests.
Here at OM we still reckon the constant harassment of Gough is a
colossal waste of public money. Clearly the whole thing is based on a
fundamental misunderstanding. Gough is quoted as saying that: "There
is no law saying thou shalt not go naked." Unfortunately for him, the
police don't quite see it that way...
More details from this BBC
story and from the Times
Online. Finally thanks to OM member Darren Wheeler who spotted
the story as soon as it appeared...

Bless him. "There is no law which says thou shalt not go naked." Bonkers, just bonkers!
