Vango Embraces Online Democracy

Winner of Vango photography competition to be decided by public vote.

Hurrah for online democracy! Vango has been running a photography competition and was, originally, intending to select the winner itself, but now the seven finalists - below - are up for an X-Factor style public vote on the Vango web site.

The voting is open until 30 November and the winner's shot will be used as the background for Vango's new web site, set to launch next year.

evil goat...

you got my vote, because I thought your photo captured the freedom of camping very nicely (as did 5 but yours was the better photo IMHO).

It seems you're in second place to the first pic of a child in the teepee. Umm... looks like an X-factor style fiasco à la Jedward might be on the cards...
