The competition's split into two categories, photos with Vango products in them and photos without. The company says:

'We are looking for images that will reflect our brand’s vibrant and inspirational personality and we want everyone who gets a thrill from being in the outdoors or simply by clicking open the lens of a camera to take part as the competition is open to everyone no matter what their background.'

It could be a shot of your family sitting around a tent or you and your mates on a hill. To enter, all you need to do is e-mail your images to marketing@amg-group.co.uk together with your name, address and a contact telephone number.

You can find full terms and conditions of the competition at www.vango.co.uk

Just looking into this on the Vango site. Any entrants need to be aware that copyright of the winning images is transfered to Vango. This means that your shot could be blown up to the size of an office block & shown in Trafalger Square or worldwide if necessary & you would only get @ worst a £50 prize & you cant show it again without their agreement. If you are happy with this then fine, a lot of people will be, but if Vango think its good enough for publication, maybe worldwide, dont you think that they should reward the artist with the market rate? Just something to consider prior to handing your work over.

Not just winners, but all entrants. Sounds like a rights grab. A cheap way to get loads of photies they can use for adverts & the like. Not that I'm in any way a cynic you understand.
