Void Film Clip On Line...

If you've got broadband, or a lot of patience, you can see a clip from the film of Joe Simpson's epic Touching The Void film on line.

It's in Windows Media Player format, about 2.4 megabytes in size and guaranteed to make you wince as Yates lowers the injured Simpson down the face of Siula Grande. The voices are Joe Simpson and Simon Yates interviewed in London, the climbing action was filmed, sometimes in genuinely appalling conditions, in the Alps and the film's due out first at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival in November, then on general release from mid-December.
