When GPS Meets Tracy Emin...
Who says GPS is a daft luxury? Why, with a little planning you can create beautiful line drawings and publish them on the web, really you can. Fantastic...

Yep, it's crazy time once more on OUTDOORSmagic. This week we
bring you the GPS Drawing Site...
It's a stunning repository for drawings formed by the traces from
GPS routes. As we understand it - a relative terms where GPS is
concerned - GPS enthusiasts pre-plan a drawing on a map then rush out
with their GPS units and create the trace for real before
transferring it onto a digital map and creating, erm, a GPS
drawing.

The Brighton Elephant...

Of course, it would be a load easier and cheaper to just do the same
thing with a piece of paper and pencil and, judging by the results on
the site, it would look better as well.
The stunning images include the extraordinarily beautiful
Wallingford Fish, an Oxford Don and the Brighton Elephant.
We say, whatever you do, don't give a GPS to Tracy Emin, you know
what would happen. One final question, where are all the rude GPS
Drawings? Is there a special site for them? I think we should be
told...
You want to see the site? Okay.
