... Berghaus and Outward Bound are giving away a place on the 'Ultimate Adventure Experience' plus £500 of kit.
The Outward Bound Trust and long-time supporter, Berghaus, have got together to offer one young person a place on The Trust’s Ultimate Adventure experience worth £1,499 together with £500 of Berghaus kit.
The competition is part of the successful Adventure Challenge initiative and will allow one winner aged between 16 and 24, the chance to take part in the three-week experience at an Outward Bound Trust location of their choice, plus £500-worth of Berghaus kit to help them survive it all.
The three-week adventure normally costs £1,499 gives participants the chance to boost their confidence, feel more independent and learn some invaluable skills, while spending every night camping out under the stars with new friends and is aimed, like the competition, at young people who are passionate about adventure and want to have a crack at a range of outdoor activites from rock climbing through to paddling.

The lucky winner can choose between bases in the Highlands of Scotland, North Wales or the Lakes and, as part of the experience, will take part in the planning and leadership of a wilderness expedition along with the rest of their team
