Most OMers will be aware of Head For The Hills, the massive Lake
District outdoors extravaganza being organised by Trail and Country
Walking. We won't go into the full extensive details, but the
programme includes a selection of walks - escorted and unescorted -
the chance to try climbing, loads of advice, demos and workshops from
some of the biggest names in the outdoors plus celebrity appearances
from the likes of Chris Bonington, Simon Yates and Alan Hinkes.
Head For The Hills takes place at Rydal, near Ambleside on 11/12
June 2005 and the good news is that we have ten tickets to give
away in our Head for the Hills Competition. So what are
