Winterfest 2011 At Outside

James Thacker will be amongst those present at Outside

After the success of the first Winterfest last year, outdoors retailer Outside's Hathersage store are holding another one over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th December.

There will be great deals on winter clothing and equipment, giveaways and prize draws plus help and advice from technical reps.

Additionally there will be two free evening lectures on Saturday 3rd from Haglofs sponsored athlete and aspirant guide James Thacker and Outside’s own Tom Richardson, expedition leader and Climb columnist.

It’s first come first served for tickets that can be picked up in-store throughout the day.

Having climbed with James in the Peak and in Scotland I can guarantee that his lecture will be interesting, informative and amusing.

Down the road at Outside's Calver store there will be a “Meet the Expert” evening with Garmin.

The latest Garmin outdoor GPS units will be available to demo including the new eTrex range which has just been launched. Garmin’s latest navigation software will also be available to demo.

There will even be a special free gift with every purchase of a Garmin on the day.
