Da coolest place in Glossop for da street wear
Cos this 'ere's a cool chilled urban garment dudes, we decided to check it out in da collest place in Glossop. Da newly extended Glossop Tesco. Cos Glossop is so hard, da Tesco is the coldest place in town, so we put on the Urban Spliff and went to hang with the frozen foods massive with da cool hood on.

Pretty soon we was attracting loads of attention. Da shoppers were staring at us, cos the hooded gilet is like, happening. Da new Wind Pro fleece - check out da specs below - is 95 per-cent wind resistant, which means if you blow through it, you can feel your breathe on da naked skin below. Tek-neee-cal.

Da love parade starts here.

But dis ain't no redsock-boy hill fleece. Dis is just da job for da urban environment. Dat hood ain't adjustable. But man, dis is what da SAS would wear to do the groceries you know. We 'ad da ask de girl at da checkout to do the photos like, but ees no problem cos we is so cool in da Spirit.

Da hood is well cool. Normally dey is only on dee laydeez tops but dis is for da guys as well.

Check it out. In da shops now in time for de Santa man.

Checking it out at da check out. Big up Tesco

Verdict: funkin' not sweatin'

Update Okay, in English this time. This isn't really a technical garment, but it's a brilliant way of conserving core body heat, maybe layered over a thinner fleece to keep your arms mobile. The hood comes in useful too, particularly if your hair is short, though the lack of any sort of elastication means that it's at its best in town and in windless conditions. Also seems to be reasonably water resistant.

It's lived up to the non-clammy claim so far and we'd love to try a more technical top in the same fabric. But really, this is as much about looks as performance and we like it. It's about time boys had a hooded gilet as well - for some reason they've always been reserved for wimmin...

Urban Performance

Fashion Value

Da Sprayway web site, hit it here man

Pushed for time: The Urban Spirit uses a new Polartec fabric called Wind Pro. Claimed to be 95 per-cent wind resistant and to offer twice the protection from wind chill of a normal fleece, but without that clammy feeling windproof fleece is so renowned for and, so far as we can tell, it works pretty well.

I say, as far as we can tell because the Urban Spirit is more street wear than hill wear, albeit warm and comfortable street wear. We like it for what it is and simply say check it out

Now, this is not what we want to see on this type of website, I thought this was for serious walkers like me who like to pretend we are climbers, wear red socks, and go to cafes for 2 hours, this is not on.

Fair comment. I'll remove the article immediately and replace it with one on buns and cake in da hood...
