Description: John Merrill
Quite simply - a stunning and breathtaking walk of 27 miles and 3,000 feet of ascent through remote countryside in the Forest of Bowland. The views from the summits are extensive - up to 60 miles. The route, a mixture of moorland and summits, has no refreshment or accommodation en-route and so you must be self-sufficient.
You should allow 10 - 12 hours for the circuit and the successful can obtain a special embroidered badge and signed certificate from John Merrill.
