 Map Cases
Map Cases The best map in the world isn't much use after it's been reduced to papier mache by a day's persistent rain. A map case spares you taking compass bearings on a piece of wet pulp, if you don't fancy forking out for ready-laminated maps in the first place. Options included cases that dangle round your neck or those that attach to your waist belt; transparency on one side or both sides; and compass pockets. The best bit is that this is your one piece of outdoor gear, other than your Mars bar, that isn't expensive:-).

Aqua3 Laminated Map - Quick Test
It's not heavy, it's not shiny, it doesn't make noises like a packet of Sugar Pops, you can write on it with a pencil and wipe clean later and it's totally weatherproof too... - 18/2/04
