'IF YOU TRY THEM, YOU'LL BUY THEM!!'
Strengths:
Have you any idea how much a packet of plasters costs these days? I do, and in the course of a year have been known to spend more on them than the cost of a pair of boots! However, if you buy these boots then you'll rapidly forget the cost of plasters since you'll never have to but them again. THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS OUT THERE!

Although they are relatively flexible, nowadays the Hillmaster GTX has a more robust midsole which provides more support on rocky ground.

Unlike other boots with a GTX membrane, these are leather-lined. This means that even if you get a bit of grit in your boot, the lining isn't going to get worn away, as is so often the case with fabric-lined boots.

The sole also has good grip on muddy and rocky ground - you can even use these in mild snow conditions at lower altitudes.

Oh, and did I mention that you won't need to "break" these boots in? They're comfy straight from the box!

What more could you want in a pair of boots?
Weaknesses:
Since the midsole has been stiffened since the Hillmasters of a few years ago, I honestly can't think of any weaknesses....apart from the fact that you may have to double-knot your Brasher laces to prevent them coming undone!!

OK, they're brown, perhaps not the most trendy of colours. But do you want to go walking in the countryside or the catwalk?
Overall:
Don't waste your weekend trailing round gear shops to find a pair of boots. Just grab a pair of these straight away & you'll be able to spend the rest of your Saturday trailing round the countryside in comfort!
