Thay fit like an old pair of slippers straight out of the box. Plus they look modern and little bit different from bog standard leather boots. Excellent value for money, if you look round you can pick them up for £85-£95 and if your lucky even less. My feet always come out intacked, and I look foward to putting them on the next morning! None of my mates seem to say the same about their boots! | | Weaknesses: After around 1500 miles a gap appeared betwen the rubber and the outer leather, this was soon filled with glue and hasn't given me any grief since. After around 2000 miles the inner soles were knackered, but these are easily replaced, and the same applies for all walking boots. The mark two version has the new improved sole, but the Swamp colours not as nice as the Blue! | | Overall: Seen me through my Bronze, Silver, Gold DofE, Chief Scouts Challange and nemourous other experditions! Ideal if your looking for a boot that'll carry you through almost anything, perfect for backpacking! |
