'BIG BUT USEFUL'
Strengths:
Nice logbook system of trips.
Alarms for reaching specific altitudes.
Weather warning giving pressure trends - a drop over several hours (whilst at a fixed altitude - e.g. at night in tent) means bad weather coming.
Strong - not broken yet.
Battery life is about 3 years - not bad.
Weaknesses:
Too big.
Seems to be calibrated for higher altitudes than UK - often have to reset it.
User interface not as good as it could be.
Overall:
Very useful for navigation (if you know what height a route off a ridge is for instance, this will help you find it).
Very nice for recording trips (number of peaks, time taken etc.
Bit on the large side.
Don't bother with the more expensive models with compasses etc - altitude is all you need.
