'HAPPY AND WOULD BUY AGAIN'
Strengths:
Very light. Comfortable and warm. Good tight fit
Weaknesses:
Fiddly zips
Overall:
Have used for the last four weeks hiking and biking in the mild Scottish Winter. Performs really well and has replaced my old Buffalo Mountain Shirt. It does everything it says on the tin.

'SCHOELLER SOFTSHELL JACKET'
Strengths:
Very breathable with good water resistance.
Stretch fabric for comfort
Weaknesses:
Pricey. RRP is now £150
Zips close top to bottom
Overall:
After trying various softshell jackets on over the months none really suitied me as I found the likes of Gore Softshell uncomfortable and too thick. The my eyes fell on the Baltoro. As it's made of Schoeller it is very breathable and extremely water resistant with great stretch properties.

The microfleece liner improves the warmth without affecting breathability.

A couple of minor niggles though. The 2 main pockets, while high enough to allow access with a rucksack belt, open by pulling the zip up rather than the traditional down. Minor I know. The other is a lock of a hood to keep draughts out.

Overall, and excellent jacket mde from a top material.
