'LIGHT WEIGHT , VERY SMALL WHEN PACKED '
Strengths:
small, light weight , fast boil time if you buy the windpro wind shield ( £ 11.00 )
Weaknesses:
the less fuel in the can the slower it boils , cant use all the fuel by tipping it up like the windpro
Overall:
this is a great stove for anyone back packing and they only want to boil water for dehydrated meals and brew ups ,
possibly the best mini stove on the market , imho

'GREAT LIGHTWEIGHT STOVE'
Strengths:
The most obvious is the weight and size. It packs down to a very reasonable size, and the protective case which comes with it is useful if you aren't trying to shed every gram from your pack. It is also seems to be very powerful (havnt used other stoves so cant make comparisons). Easy to use with gloves on! Cost!
Weaknesses:
I'd say that the pan supports need to be arrayed around a larger diameter, if that makes sense. Obviously there has to be a balance between weight and size though. If the supports would fold out a bit further and the stove bit were lower that would probably be an improvement. The other thing i noticed is that it seems to guzzle gas like there is no tomorrow, although again i have nothing to compare it to. Also you need to be careful to cook out of the wind as I dont particularly rate the wind shield thing. It helps, but really you need a sheltered spot or it takes a long time and alot of fuel to cook.
Overall:
Great stove. Lightweight, powerful, good pack size and great value for money. This is the first gas stove ive used so I cannot compare, but it does seem that it guzzles alot of fuel. I would definitely recommend this stove however. It has served me well.

'GREAT COOKER, BUT UNSTABLE'
Strengths:
Very light, great heat times, grips pans well
Weaknesses:
unstable in use.
Overall:
A very light, reliable, pan gripping stove, butunstable as standard - much better with a 22g plastic support to widen the base. Rating for without support, with it I'd go for a 5.

[Update 21/08/07] I've been asked about the 22g plastic support. This is a Primus folding device I bought from Ellis Brigham in Covent Garden for about £4. Primus website has pictures of it. Really worth seeking out. A friend of mine has a different model, so there are obviously at least two companies making these things.
