'STABLE, POWERFUL, GOOD VALUE STOVE.'
Strengths:
Price.
Very stable, low profile - copes with uneven surface and large pans.
Folds to a small size and is lightweight.
Weaknesses:
To fully fold it away it is sometimes neccessary to inscrew the pipe from the stove. Doing it back up again is fidly and time-consuming - especially in bad weather.
A good value version but some of the 'riveting' looks cheap could cause concern for robustness over the long-term.
Overall:
An excellent compromise between performance, build quality and value.

'IT GOT MY VOTE'
Strengths:
Lightweight and packs small into supplied pouch, comes with own flint starter (doddle to light), sets up and collapses in seconds, stable with pans. Regulator on the canister not the stove makes adjustment easy without burnt fingers of risk of knocking pans.
Weaknesses:
Agree with Mark on fiddly feeder pipe - could cross thread the brass screwthread and have future problems.
Overall:
I took a long look at the options and being a 'cooking on gas' man, this was the one I bought. I chose the model with the extra clip-on/off wind shield which is worth the extra few pounds in my book. Has worked well in base and wild camps with no problems. Flint starter makes lighting a breeze so no more lighters or matches.

'TOP BURNER AT A GREAT PRICE.'
Strengths:
Speed of boil, and adjustable to boot. Packable and small when folded. Stable.
Weaknesses:
Quite heavy. Pouch doesn't fit burner+pipe+gas canister.
Overall:
I like this burner. The main reason I bought it was due to the fact that I already own a GoGas solo stove and was impressed with that one. The boil time is fantastic, it certainly boils up my porridge in super quick time. Oh is fast at boiling water for tea.

It's nicely stable and takes a big pan easily, without any danger of tipping. Oh and the adjustment of the burner is great.

I think that the connection is nice and snug, and have had no problems when the pipe is screwed onto the burner. Maybe I've been lucky, but then I've not had to use it in the cold.

The only real gripe I have is that the lovely pouch that it comes with is quite big for the burner on it's own, but it's not big enough to fit the burner AND a canister, which would be nice. On the plus side, at least I can fit both my GoGas burners in once nice pouch!

'HOT ENOUGH TO GET THAT MEAL DONE IN MINUTES'
Strengths:
very packable, fits inside my Karrimor pans with room for matches / sauces etc. Very controlable heat as control knob is away from pan support
Weaknesses:
the rivets are of an almost laughable quality and the metal bends a bit at the stress points where the legs move. LOUD, dont use it on a quiet campsite at 6am for a early brew.
Overall:
its your call really, if its fuctionability you're after you cant go wrong but if its build quality you want then leave well alone. i got it 1/2 price (£20) from www.aktive8.co.uk(or com, i cant remember which) so for the money its MAGIC
You might want to know that Karrimor have bought Go Gas and its now branded rekri8, the new products are much revised and the weaknesses i've mentioned have gone but you'll have to shell out the full £40ish

'CRUDE BUT EFFECTIVE'
Strengths:
Managed to get a brew on the top of the Carneddau at -10C.
It is very stable.
It is easy to control
Weaknesses:
If you get liquid fuel in the fuel line it can burn for 5 mins after you turn it off.
It is rather large.
Cheesy construction using pop rivets.
It would benefit from a longer tube so you could keep the canister in your pocket during cold weather.
Overall:
After struggling with 'cannister top' stoves during the last winter I decided to replace my missing Coleman Alpine. The Go Gas was available at a reduced price so I bought that instead and I am quite happy with it.

'STABLE STOVE WITH GOOD PAN SUPPORTS.'
Strengths:
Stable
Good grippy pan supports
Weaknesses:
The dodgy rivetts
Overall:
Basically a variation on the coleman alpine model of stove.

It's better because:
The flame seems more controlable
The pan supports are angled inwards reducing the chance of your pan sliding sideways off if the stove is on a slight slope.
The hose is removable and most importantly the joint allows the tube to rotate if you wish to invert the cylinder.
It has cool oval cutouts to save weight, it's not actually lighter than the alpine as they started with more metal.

It's worse than the alpine because:
It looks like it could have been a school technology project so the alpine will outlive it.
