Description: The Ascent is the ultimate vertical mileage shoe, yet it's technical enough to trust on desperate run-outs or tricky boulder problems. An integral EVA cushion under the heel softens those hard landings while bouldering and the treaded Stealth outsole on the heel provides traction for descents.

'Comfy and grippy'

Strengths:
Quick to put on and take off. Soles are really gripy and very comfortable

Weaknesses:
A bit dodgy when your on your heel not very good indoors.

Overall:
A great shoe for bouldering and general climbing outdoors but not precise enough for some indoor routes.

'THE MOST COMFORTABLE ROCK SHOE IN THE WORLD, EVER!'

Strengths:
once worn in the rubber is extremely grippy, good for precise edging and traction when smearing. gives you to confidence move without restriction, and when you’re done just tear off.

Weaknesses:
rubber wears very quickly have just been reshod for the second time, they'll be thrown when the velcro finally gives up.

Overall:
5.10 shoes just fit better. the early acent shoe is more desirable to look at non of those new age hippy colours, neon yellows, and acid green, shite. they are expensive, but you get what you pay for.
