'Almost the bees knees (it is now!)'
Strengths:
capacity (about 4 - 5 litres?)

lightly padded (does not cause you to over heat unlike some paddings)

uses a belt with 3-clips that fasten to 3 D-rings and *hey presto* a rucksack!

fits on the back, the front, the shoulders

allows you to explore from TBC without being overloaded
Weaknesses:
outer fabric looks a little weak (but it may not be)

dreadful hook&loop & flap combination in the wrong place (easily remedied)

Overall:
Does anyone know who distributes/imports this stuff? There is a minor tweak that will turn this bumbag into a universal winner.

This is a fantastic compliment to a 6o
litre rucksack when you are adventuring or exploring from a temporary base camp (TBC). It has secure pouches that will accomodate a passport and allows you to take minimal kit from TBC without being overloaded. The additional option of converting it into a rucksack really is the bonus and makes it a worthy bit of kit next to petzel's tika.

If you have ever experienced the day-3 bruised hips then this is a good answer. Good for most outdoor activists such as cyclists, walkers, hikers, hang-gliders, ...
